Revlon Limited Edition Nail Art Stencils

Hey loves,

A couple of weeks ago, I was in Orlando celebrating my friend's bacholorette weekend. Before heading back home to Miami, I made a pit stop at the CVS near my friend's house to use a coupon that was going to expire and let me tell you I am soo glad I made that stop. As I was walking around the store, I came across the Limited Edition Nail Art Stencils from Revlon and picked up two packs. I would've bought more but they were pretty much sold out of the all of that they had.

From the collection, I got Hearts and Mustaches. Funny story about the Mustache nail sticker. I saw the slot for the Mustache and REALLY want it but I figured that would be the first nail design to go since mustaches are really popular right now and it was. Like I said before, most of the stickers were gone with the exception of a few that weren't so popular. So I dug around looking through what was left and saw that this one was hiding in the back of a different nail design. I guess someone was trying to hide it but they never came back for it. Since it was the last one, I grab it along with the Heart design and use my 20% off coupon towards my purchase. At $4.99, these nail stencils are a steal. Most nail art stickers typical retail for $9.99 or up and sometimes they aren't worth the investment. But since I was able to save on these, they are worth it to me.

When I got back home, I checked my local CVS and I wasn't able to find these nail design so I am glad I was able to pick these up while they were still available. I can't wait to try these out so stayed tuned for a review and a nail post:)!

How To: Spot/Deep Clean Makeup Brushes

Hey loves,

Cleaning your makeup brushes is soo important to the makeup application process. Let's face it...makeup brushes are pretty expensive especially for good quality brushes and cleaning them is very important. Cleaning them on a regular basis is the best ways to maintain them and keep them in great shape. By cleaning them helps to removes:
·         Dirt and Bacteria
·         Old makeup that has built up over time
·         Oils from your face
·         Dead Skin Cells
On top of removing all of that nasty gunk, cleaning them keeps your brushes looking cleaning and feeling soft. If you have sensitive skin like me, cleaning them on the regular will help prevent breakouts and your skin will thank you! I know mine doesJ.

Touched by Red

Hey loves,

This is my first official fashion blog post and I so excited!!! Getting dressed is the best part of my day because I like to use my clothes to express myself. I like to think outside of the box with my clothing sometimes and be fashionable at the same time. Fashion is what you make it and you should never let anyone define who you are:)!!

Awhile back I bought this red sweater with cut-out shoulders from Cache and knew that I wanted to make a statement so I went with black and white leggings to complete this look.  Pairing red with black, or red with white clothing is easy to do, as black or white can be paired with anything, but sometimes you run the risk of looking like an ode to Christmas or Valentine’s Day. So….to make the look not-so-festive, you would pair all three colors together. Since red is a bold color, it works perfectly to contrast against black and white. You can take any of the pieces you already have in your closet to create a look using these colors and show off your exceptional style. Hope you enjoy the look!

Outfit Details
Red Open Shoulder Sweater: Cache (similar)
Leggings: ASOS
Booties: Coconut by Matisse
Purse: Steve Madden (from TJMaxx)
Spike Bracelets: TJMaxx
Skull & Branch Bracelet: HauteLook

We got this big bear for the holidays and I had to show him off:)! Thank you for stopping by!

Rimmel London Pro Nail Polish Burgundy Flirt Review and Swatch

Hey loves,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I have a very pretty shade to share with you from the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish collection. I bought this nail polish a couple of months ago from CVS with a coupon and had it sitting in my nail polish collection pile for a while and waiting for the perfect time to wear it. While looking for nail polish to paint my nails, I came across this color and I knew this would be the one. Since the season is changing, I knew this color would be ABSOLUTELY perfect for fall.

Burgundy Flirt - a very classic vampy red nail polish that every girl should own. It's a very true burgundy nail color and can be applied with two coats since the color apply very well. The nail polish has a creamy  texture and with two coats, you won't experience any patchiness.

For me, I felt that with the two coats the color was very opaque but I really wanted the color to stand out so I used another coat then applied Seche Vite to dry it. I really loved that even with three coats, the nail polish dried fast and I was able to touch things without having to worry about getting my nails messed up:).

The nail polish retails for $3.99 at CVS and at that price, it such a great deal. You would pay twice sometimes three times that price for higher brand nail polish and some of them won't be as creamy and pigmented as this brand. I am really impressed with Rimmel's nail polish and I love the brush that comes with it. It makes applying the color fast and easy. I wish all other brand would follow suit.

Without Flash
The formula is very glossy and you can get away without wearing a top coat. But with a top coat, my nails look even more amazing.
